Ah, the holidays are finally here! For some people, the holiday season is truly “the most wonderful time of the year,” while for others, the thought of dealing with multiple family members — or conversely, spending the holiday season alone — can be troublesome. As much as we may love the holiday season, we also must admit that this time of year comes with its own unique set of challenges.
Fortunately, Buddha’s teachings give us a way to take the challenges of the holiday season in stride. During this class series, we’ll learn how to stay positive and peaceful during the holiday season regardless of who or what we find ourselves faced with. In this way, we’ll be able to enjoy the “spirit of the season” and make the holiday months truly spiritually meaningful.
Class Format Each class will begin with a brief guided meditation, followed by a short teaching. There will be time at the end of class for question and answer and/or discussion. Drop in for any class — no need to attend each class. Everyone is welcome.
