Singles Mixer at Counter Culture with Austin Vegan and Vegetarian Singles Meetup

The Austin Vegan and Vegetarian Singles Meetup is having their inaugural event, a mixer at Counter Culture, and they've invited our singles to join them.

Counter Culture offers meatless, dairy-free and raw foods - made from scratch - and offered at remarkably affordable prices. Whenever possible the restaurant procures organic, fair trade & locally grown food from area farmers. Sue and the Counter Culture team go to great lengths to reuse, recycle and compost.

Counter Culture also offers daily specials, as well as a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, plates & handmade desserts. In addition, the menu always has many oil free, gluten-free and soy-free options. Although vegan doesn't always mean healthy, Counter Culture emphasizes nutritious, unprocessed foods.

If you enjoyed Reuben sandwiches in your pre-veg days, theirs makes up for missing it. The jackfruit barbecue sandwiches are popular, as is the mac & cheese (but we hear it's hit-or-miss, so if that interests you, ask someone how it is that night).

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
