The Pearl Street Housing Co-op
2000 Pearl Street, Austin, TX (map)
Community Cooking is a fun, hands-on class where participants learn to prepare and eat delicious new recipes, with a focus on vegan whole food dishes that are cheap and easy to prepare. Because a healthy community needs healthy food. The Community Cooking instructor is Rachel Ecklund.
While the class size is limited to 10 people, it is important that your RSVP is accurate and if you can't come (even last-minute), please let us know. We like these classes to be full and if they're not, we could invite other vegetarian groups to join in.
PARKING: We can use all 6 of the spots in the 1906 Pearl Street lot, and then we'll have some visitor passes for the lot at 2000 Pearl Street where you can park in front or in the side lot, but be sure you're on the Co-op side of the yellow line. You will need to have sign these out and then return them so they can be used for future events. To find the kitchen, use the walkway between 1906 Pearl Street (red building) and 2000 Pearl Street (white building) and the first door on the right is the entrance to the kitchen.
