Hack Night

Bring your laptop, bring your projects, bring your knowledge, and bring your questions! From now on, hack night is going to be a more informal affair, a chance to drop in and work together with other female developers in Austin on side projects, work projects, or larger open source initiatives. You can also come get help with presentations, technical articles, testing, or just general feedback! This is a forum for us to meet other women in our community and help each other out.

Unless someone reaches out and asks to sponsor and present, we'll be doing away with the drinks, cupcakes, and introductions.

Note: we meet twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. The 4th Wednesday meetup is at Capital Factory, and is hosted by Garann Means, the founder of All Girl Hack Night. It is NOT organized via Instead, notifications about upcoming 4th Wednesday meetings are posted on this website:

I'm so that sorry that I missed it. I'll put a reminder in my calendar and be more vigilant for the next meeting

It was a small, but lively group of 5 people. It would be nice if, instead of not showing up, people who are not coming changed their RSVPd to "No". Regardless, we had some good conversations, and one of our new members, a video game artist, showed us a demo of women-oriented adult game she was developing.
