This is an informal group of female developers in Austin, representing a wide variety of languages, backgrounds, and niches. We meet once a month or so to share information, do some coding, and hang out and talk. Bringing your laptop, your vexing technical problems, and your expertise is highly encouraged! We've had some members volunteer to give short presentations on various technologies, and we've also been lucky enough to have awesome sponsors who've provided beer, wine, and snacks. This is still a relatively new group, so if you have ideas for its future direction, you're definitely invited to help shape it!
You should join if A) you're a woman, B) you like writing code in any language, and C) you think a change of scenery might be kind of fun.
