Austin Breath Meditation is a group started for those who seek to learn more about meditation with the breath as the main point of focus. We're open to all beginners or those who just want to learn more!
This group was not being attended to, and I was invited by a friend to invite you all, as current members of Austin Breath Meditation, to join us for meditation on Monday evenings, every other week. My background as a meditator of 22 years, occupational therapist, certified Mindfulness Based Meditation instructor, certified Biodynamic Practice Teacher and long time Continuum Movement practitioner have informed my relationship with the breath. I understand that True Nature Meditation may not be what you're looking for, as it's a non-breath related practice, yet I would encourage you to come and see for yourself if it's a good fit.
I would love to learn more about what sorts of breath based practice this group has been doing, and what benefits you've noticed. I've been using breathwork in a personal and professional capacity for 22 years, and would love to share that exploration with whomever is present.
