June Catan-o-rama!

Hey everyone! It's time for the June SoC gameday! Woo hoo! Thanks to Harold, once again, for coming thru with the place to arrange our tiles. We will be playing at Hope Presbyterian Church in NW Austin for a small charge per person. It is located right off Anderson Mill Road. You can get there from 183 or 620. Bring your own snacks and drinks. I will be bringing snacks to share. yum! (don't forget, no booze!!!) We had a great time at the May SoC! Bring your game or your variants! In honor of Father's Day, bring your Dad! We should have plenty of room! If you didn't come last time, we really really missed you! wink Hope to see you in June! Baaaaaaa! -Tracey

Wish we had more show up. We did have a very good 6-player C&K game that I think all enjoyed.

We had 2 games of cities and knights going - lot's of fun to learn and very patient teachers!! Also had one game of Stone Age that didn't seem to get off the ground :(

I think it's important that late comers put together their own game table so that game play can be started no later than 15 min. after the scheduled time. These games can run way too long when you have such big groups too. To keep it fun-play has to move right along for me anyway.

Glad this one was on Saturday. Sundays tend to be the day that overtime is scheduled for Dell 2nd Shift. Look forward to next month.

It was nice to not have only one small bathroom for 20 people the way it is at some game stores I play at.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
