I forgot to mention journaling as an important tool to help dealing with pain. I have found it to be helpful by getting the thoughts, swirling around in your brain, out and better thought out. We hope to see you at the next MEETUP!
Austin Chronic Pain Meetup is a peer support group for those in the Austin area living with chronic pain.
ACPM provides a way to network with others with chronic pain, share resources, discuss pain related topics, and support one another in a constructive, positive environment.
We believe that chronic pain can be resolved and it's simply a matter of discovering the root cause, uncovering the hidden blockages and then making Smart and educated choices with information from around the world, including Western scientific research, eastern medicine, Ayurvedic medicine and other holistic dietary, lifestyle and healing knowledge and techniques.
We will gather to learn from each other as well as hear from experts in the field with critical knowledge that can help us in our mission to live a pain-free life.
We are resolved to exploring this global pool of knowledge to reinstate health and resolve our pain.
An optimist is someone who always sees the bright side of any situation. Winston Churchill once said, “A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.”
