What interests you in Lisp

Spending time doing functional programming has been an incredible boon to my general programming skill. Also, source code in Lisp and Clojure in particular also has a peerless(imho) aesthetic, making it a pleasure to write.

Have you programmed in any Lisp based language before?

Aside from Clojure, I have dabbled a little bit in Scheme and Common Lisp, but not much.

Strong typing or dynamic typing?

Have you heard of Multi-methods?

Relational, Object Oriented, Graph, Network, Hierarchical databases. Which is your favorite and why?

I've only tried Object Oriented and Relational, and of those I prefer OO. Most of my DB usage is to store lightweight metadata, and I write in Java so OO is a speedy solution for me.

Hi! I'm David. I'm interested in machine learning, data science, Java, Clojure, and a lot more!
