Introduction

I'm an iOS guy interested in new languages and systems. My iPad app performs very light weight textual analysis. This year I want to do some machine learning to expand that analysis on servers. Clojure may be the ticket.

What interests you in Lisp

It is a strong language for machine learning.

Have you programmed in any Lisp based language before?

Long ago, in a life very far away ...

Strong typing or dynamic typing?

Strong typing with a dynamic type escape hatch.

Have you heard of Multi-methods?

Yes

Relational, Object Oriented, Graph, Network, Hierarchical databases. Which is your favorite and why?

I've grown quite fond of Core Data's object graph methodology.

    Heya,

Thanks for sharing your Core Data knowledge. I always enjoy your presentations (especially when they are informal and I can drive the topic, hahah). See you at the start up crawl hopefully.
