Women Only 100K Rapha Ride

No registration or fee. Looks like a blast.

It's a 100k ride just for women born from Rapha to unify, empower, and celebrate women on the bike. Women from Austin and beyond will be on the road, too. We and other shops in town will be embarking on the same beautiful route for an epic day on the the bike. It will be hard. But it will be rewarding.

Our friends the Austin Flyers will lead our ride and help make it great for everyone. We thank these ladies.

IMPORTANT: This is not a "sagged" ride. There will be no sweep vehicles for riders who choose to abbreviate their ride. Please bring your smart phone, tire repair kits, water, and tubes.

The route is a 100k (62 mile) trek west into the hills near Lake Travis. Rest stops will be courtesy of Mellow Johnny's, CycleEast, and other friends to be added soon.

Fitness: You need to be fit. There is about 2400 feet of climbing in July heat. Get ready for a hot, hard, 4-5 hours.

Wheels down at 7:30 am.

This was an awesome route. I saved the cue sheet and would love to do it again as a group ride sometime! Yes, it was hilly. Yes, it was warm at the end. But so worth it. Watermelon at rest stop 1 and strawberries and cold towels at rest stop 2. And, of course, the mimosas at the end were wonderful.
