Thanks Mark for marking the course. It was awesome! Glad to have met some riders I haven't ridden with (chased) before. Good to see my normal buds! Great day.

Great ride - we started a few minutes later after our 1500+ swim and just missed the main group, but did the whole 56k ride. We were glad the course was marked.

Hey Jackie, have you and/or Monica done this before? Seems like there are a hell of a lot of opportunities for a wrong turn! If you two know the way can I hang with you ladies? :)

Hi. The route is well marked with yellow arrows painted on the road before and after every turn. There are also dozens if not hundreds of cyclists riding the course right now.

For those who don't want to go quite the whole distance, you can cut this ride down to about 35 miles. Check out the map - at mile 15m, cut over to the 35 mile marker and follow the rest of the route.

Does anybody have a link to a map of the course? Can only find a map to the starting point.

Take lots of liquid. One store stop and its 40 miles in. Unless someone parks a vehicle. Rode this two weeks ago

Thanks, Michael for the invitation. Not familiar with this route, but have seen the map. What would be the car traffic load on the route, in your opinion? What kind of pace do you plan on? Time to finish?

There will be various paces. There will probably be 20 or 30 people there. I would anticipate being done before noon. Car traffic that early is not bad.

The Austin triathlete meet-up is also planning to ride this course on Sat morning. Any chance we can make a bigger group by going in together?

Mary, I'm an assistant organizer on the tri meetup also. That's how I know about this. Yes, we will be meeting up with them and probably self sorting into groups according to pace.
