Some suggested going to dinner after the ride since it's the last one until Spring.  Choices in the area are Thai (Satay and Madam Mam's) and Mexican (Casa Chapala).  We can decide at the ride who wants to go to dinner and where.

This is a BEGINNER pace no-drop road ride for first-time riders on any type of bike in any condition.   If you are not a beginner, please sign up for the INT ride.

We meet in the office parking lot next to Suzi's on Shoal Creek just south of Anderson Lane. We have a couple of options in terms of distance and can increase distance by a few different loops. Distance options are 9 miles and up. All levels are welcome.

Meet at 5:45, wheels down at 6pm.

Helmet and shoes (no flip flops) required, as is water. We want you to be safe :)

Any type of bike is welcome. No experience necessary.  Looking forward to seeing you!

Route is south on Shoal Creek to 38th Street and then back north up Bull Creek to Hancock and back to Shoal Creek.

Hey, female beginners. The Bicycle Sport Shop Women's Ride is this coming Sat, Oct 12. It is posted on meetup. If you are not working, come on out. The beginner distance is only 12 miles, and it's probably a little easier than the Shoal Creek route!

Thank you for posting the light recommendation. I will miss our Monday night rides. Thank you for being an awesome group leader :-)

People asked for a light recommendation. This came from the Brazos Valley Cyclists in the Aggieland area. One of the riders says it's the best light she has ever owned.

I just ordered two, along with the MagicShine wide angle lens.
