Pre-Ride Livestrong 65 mile course

**NOTE: NOT ASSOCIATED WITH LIVESTRONG**

PRE RIDE THE 65 MILE LOOP..

For those of you that would like to see the 65 mile course before the actual ride...This is for you!. Wheels Roll @ 8AM.

We will start at Randalls on frontage rd of BEN WHITE & MANCHACA.  We will ride out to pick up s 1st st. and follow the course for the entire 65 miles

Due to ACL fest on this Sunday we will start just out of downtown, but they do ride on    S 1st St.  We will have a vehicle to carry drinks and food for us.  This is a great way to know the course better and be safer before the mass start.

CyclingSwami.com is bringing you a great opportunity to ride the 65 mile course before the actual event.  Join CYCLINGSWAMI.com and other cyclists as you get the PRO treatment for the training ride. We will have a SAG (Support and Gear) follow truck to take care of your needs. We will also have a person with us to address bike issues like flats. **NOTE: NOT ASSOCIATED WITH LIVESTRONG**

RIDER REQUIREMENTS: Should be able to ride AVG Speed of 14 + mph.

Bicycle in good working condition.  HELMETS ARE REQUIRED                                                            Supplies to change 2 flats i.e. 2 tubes 2 full water bottles. SAG Vehicle can take spare wheels if you would like to put them in, special drinks you might like to have. CyclingSwami.com will provide support of coolers, extra 700c tubes, pump, COLD DRINKS, energy bars, and gels. We will have one or two stops along the 65 mile route to use facilities. Here is the link to the route map if you would like to load it or print it. 65-Mile Course The 65-mile course is ideal for intermediate to experienced riders who are looking for a longer, more challenging ride. Riders follow the same course as the 18-mile & 45 mile route, but turn right onto Old San Antonio Road heading west past Buda into gorgeous rolling terrain. Riders will enjoy great views of Texas hill country as the course loops south, eventually winding back up to Austin.

    And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs’d they were not here,
    And hold their manhoods cheap...

Shakespeare Henry V.--King Harry's speech to his troops just prior to the Battle of Agincourt. Quite rousing, actually.

This was a great ride last year! I hope to do again. A beautiful ride even if you are not doing the Livestrong. A good way to familiarize yourself with some of the route. Perfect timing for your high-mileage weekend prior to tapering down, if you are training that way. Strongly Recommend!

If you are training that way. Strongly Recommend!
