Thanks for the consideration. I wish I could keep up at faster pace (I like to push myself) with those who are younger but I don't enjoy the speed at this time in my cycling career. I will try ride again. I rode 54 miles on Saturday so was perhaps a little fatigued for Monday's ride.

My Cyclemeter app says the first loop was 17.3 avg speed not counting stopped time, just FYI. That may be a little fast for some, including me.

I was definitely pushing to try and keep up. I wouldn't mind a little slower at least until I'm in better shape.

Ride was faster than I cared for, 18-20 miles per hour, 33 miles per hour on at least one occasion. To be fair when stops/traffic lights were included average speed was 14.2 miles per hour. The beginner ride is a bit too slow. I wish there was something in between. I've been cycling for 45 years so certainly don't consider myself a beginner.

We will try and get the speed down, I'm sure you know that sometimes we all get to thinking about other things and kinda get lost in thought?
