Here we go again! there is a 60% chance of rain today for the ride, and the possibility of strong t-storms.

We can't control the weather so we will need to be prudent for safety sake.

Please check back here at 5:00 pm for cancellation of the ride should I decide to do so.

I'm new to the group and it would be a 11 mile bike ride to get to the initial point. I'm not worried about that, or the ride home, but you requiring helmets is an issue. I've never had or used a helmet since I got my bike and it's been my grocery getter and shopper for about 2.5 years now. And I don't ride in the rain, what happens if it's raining?

I'm sorry but NO HELMET NO RIDE, that is policy, is is for your safety. rain outs are usually posted before 5:00pm the afternoon of the ride.
