Our favorite: Jack and Adam's Steiner Steakhouse Ride

Our group is sometimes lost in the crowd so look for us near the portico at the front door area. Not UNDER it, but in front of it.

There are three rides:

1) There is a 15 mile no drop ride for all levels.
2) There is an intermediate 33 miler (15-16 MPH) - this is where most of us ride and no worries on the pace, actually. We usually trail in towards the end of this bunch.  Even if you ride 13 - 14 MPH you'll be fine.
3) The "big dawgs" don't say how fast they ride. If you have to ask...then don't!

This is a GREAT, mostly flat ride with a 2 mile STEEP hill at the turn-around point that many of us skip for about a 30 length ride. Hill lovers (freaks!) will put in right at 33 miles.

We try to gather as a group at 8:15 and always seed into groups according to pace. Ride rolls sharply at 8:30.

Half price BREAKFAST AFTER!! Live music, too.

Well, the message in church today was "Dance with Me ("God") and I think I should be dancing more:) Glad to know that you extremist had a good ride today, and made it back safely.

It is supposed to be 30 in the morning, and I'm not outfitted for cold weather. I should have taken advantage of Performance Bike sale on winter clothing this week; unfortunately I spent my discretionary income on Christmas;).

My fingers and toes got a little cold but It wasn't too bad... I could have easily crawled back in bed like all the other slackers but Oleta was all pumped to ride so we did just that :-)

Think only 3 of us made the ride. Me, mike g. with oleta, and bill. It was very cold. It's very important to have the proper gear!!

The forecast I'm looking at says 48 degrees, but 60% chance of rain. Yuk

    December 29, 2012

    • Patricia

I like your forecast better...minus the rain even tho we need it.

      December 29, 2012

    • Michael G.

looks like 48 is closer to the high for tomorrow... the rain is suposed to hold off until afternoon but the ride time temp is showing about 35 ... its already in the 30s out here

So who all is still going??

    December 29, 2012

    • Michael B.

Should be those that are still RSVP'ed. There will still be 15 or so. If people are not going they should change their RSVP to No.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
