Rena, tri bikes are fine. Only thing recommend is don't ride in you aero bars in a paceline. Especially if you don't know who you are riding with. :)

Hi all! I'm new to this group. Looking for some people to ride longer distances with. Any bike limitations? (ie: no aero bars, tri bikes, etc...). I ask because I'm a triathlete and prefer to do distance rides on my tri bike, but I totally respect that some groups don't allow this type of equipment for obvious reasons. Also, is the goal to keep the group together, or will there be faster/slower riders and then regrouping stops? Thanks!

The great thing is there is a truck if you can't make it. I would give it a go. There are some great roads to ride and its the same course as the ride next weekend. You can see it before most others.

I want to try this ride but unsure if its too long for me. the longest ride ride i have ever done is 46 miles, but we also did 3600ft of climbing. This was this summer and I haven't been on my bike nearly as much as I should be so Im trying to figure out how this ride compares to the long ride I did over the summer. Im new here so I know nothing about the roads here or this route.
