Bee Cave Road - Sunday Ride

A new bakery has opened in the former location of Bountiful Bakery. Our Sunday ride is now better than ever! We're going back for a real brunch-after-the-ride option.

Our Sunday rides are mostly B riders and we welcome A riders who want a recovery ride or beginners that want a buddy to hang back with them.  We range in speeds from 13 to 18 MPH and some of us will always adjust for the slowest rider.

Our base ride is 16 miles and there are options for riding up to 34 miles depending on who speaks up and shows up. Going back to the bakery gives us the option to add on the Rough Hollow/Bee Cave Parkway roller coaster and lots of extra miles.

We usually decide the route and the various options on site based on who shows up and what the mood is. Some are recovering from longer rides on Saturday and some are ready for extra climbing. We usually have two or three sub-groups.

No drop, all levels welcome! We're moving this ride later as the fall encroaches and we're not having to leave early to beat the heat. Please arrive no later than 9:00 to air up and water up. Wheels down at 9:15 this week sharp!

Last week Torsten and a couple others did that by heading up 360 to the bridge when the rest of the group turned back down Bee Cave from riding a Walsh Tarlton/Westlake High School loop. Have fun!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
