The May destination on the tour of Planet Austin isn't a place but a time. Join us on Saturday, May 18th for an exclusive multi-course, wine pairing dinner at a new and notable addition to the Austin restaurant scene, Flour and Vine.
Flour and Vine is committed to creating a memorable experience for the five senses with flavorful comfort food, delightful wine pairings, and specialty cocktails. Featuring a warm inviting ambiance that harkens back to a stylish Speakeasy from the Prohibition Era, Flour and Vine's menu, decor and staff will give our group a transcendent experience. Savor well-prepared food, attractive plating, and attentive service while experiencing 7 - 9 wines from different regions showcasing best practices in winemaking, as well as small production wines that practice biodynamic, organic, and sustainable growing techniques.
Under the direction of Sommelier Matt Thompson, wines will be paired with a special tasting menu (First Course, Second Course and Dessert Course) created specifically for our group that will perfectly accentuate each Wine Flight. Matt will be available during each Flight/Course to answer your questions about the winery, vintage, varietal and appellation of the wines he's selected.
Completing the experience will be the soft, sultry sounds of Flour and Vine's talented wait staff. Several are accomplished singers in their own right who will perform various jazz and blues selections throughout the evening.
A treat for all five senses, let's go back in time at Flour and Vine!
Arrive at or after 5:45. Seating is at 6. Free parking is available in the adjacent garage. The cost of the event ($31 - which includes tax and gratuity) is due upon RSVP.
See you there!
