Food Network alum Brad Sorenson brings "homespun twists on upscale classics" and clean, modernist-inspired design to Rainey Street. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Brad successfully opened his first restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. A few years later he landed in Austin and was cast in The Next Food Network Star and competed on CHOPPED. Not long after filming wrapped, he started dreaming up his next project, NO VA.
NO VA is a Spanish phrase meaning "it doesn't go". The latest addition to Rainey Street is a modern two-story building that is a striking contrast to the historic buildings on Rainey Street hence the name NO VA..."it doesn't go" with the rest of the neighborhood. The uniqueness continues inside with adventurous yet approachable dishes and cocktails that appeal to the eclectic palates of Rainey Street residents and frequenters.
Join us on Wednesday, January 15th at 7pm for dinner and wine in NO VA's private dining room. Come and be one of the first to enjoy NO VA's new family style menu which will be announced January 2nd. Remember, you heard it here first! We'll have 3 courses served family style. Wine will be paired with each course. After dinner, we'll explore Rainey Street and head over to Lucille's for post-dinner libations.
Event cost of $61 (tax and gratuity included) is due upon RSVP.
We look forward to seeing you there!
