Micro Talks!

Instead of 1 long talk let's do some Micro talks, in the vein of popularity of Micro services! If you have something neat to show and it's 15 minutes or less bring it!  The rules are there are no rules, if it's relevant to the group and under 15 minutes that's all we ask. No 1 minute slide rules or anything like that.

Eric MacAdie and I will do one each. Comment on this page on the meetup site or email me at [masked] if you have a micro talk to share with the group for the 23rd!

EKM says: I will cover my Groovy Validator project (https://github.com/emacadie/groovy-validator) which supplies and processes annotations which validate fields in your POGOs, sort of like constraints in Grails.

It would be great if we could also have a Grails help night. For some reason I am getting errors on all my Grails apps:
    | Packaging Grails application.....
    | Error Tomcat plugin classes JAR grails-plugin-tomcat-7.0.42.jar not found
    | Running Grails application
Error: Could not find or load main class org.grails.plugins.tomcat.fork.ForkedTomcatServer
    | Error Forked Grails VM exited with error

Things that ran fine before are no longer running. I am getting this on all versions of Grails that I try.

Sure why not, people bring your stumpers and headscratchers and we'll try to figure them out!

I need to borrow some old android phones for my Lego EV3 workshop at Gr8Conf to use the camera functions. If anyone has any they can loan me, I can return them after the conf. It just needs to be able to boot and install the IP Camera app from Play. It doesn't need service or anything else just wifi. Thanks!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
