Pike Powers Lab and Center for Commercialization:
The Pike Powers Lab is where the Internet of Things meets the living rooms of people and it's in Austin's very own backyard. It's led by experienced engineers, and filled with sophisticated testing equipment. The Pike Powers Laboratory and Center for Commercialization offers specialized capabilities for developing, testing and validating consumer electronics and applications that incorporate metrology, building controls, solar PV, natural gas fuel cell, machine-to-machine, vehicle charging and disaggregation technologies.
Scott Hinson leads the development of the Pike Powers Commercialization Lab and will show you how to get access to the lab and what equipment and services they have available. He will also give an overview of data and research results from the Pecan Street smart grid project.
