February Meetup: Lessons Learned from Facebook, Mint, and building AppSumo

  • Feb 28, 2012 · 6:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Note: We won't have a regular meetup this Tuesday (because it's Valentine's Day) but will hold one instead on Feb 28.

For the February meetup, we will be joined by Noah Kagan who will generously share his lessons learned driving marketing at Facebook, Mint and building AppSumo in true lean fashion.

I've seen Noah challenge entrepreneurs to start validating their businesses from day one by constraining themselves to using just the free Google apps suite - You don't need code to validate a vision.

This is just one of many techniques Noah will share. An event not to be missed.

Pizza and conference room provided by Capital Thought.

Join us afterwards at Buffalo Billiards for drinks.

Noah Kagan's talk was funny, inspiring, and very useful for anyone engaged in a startup. Funniest advice: "Dont hire a bookkeeper with tattoos"

Fantastic meetup! Ash has once again brought in a tier one startup success story. You can't pay to be spoon fed pearls like this that take a life time to learn.

Enjoyed Noah's talk, great presentation style and also his willingness to share his experiences to date, even if his "body guard" did not approve.

Loved Noah Kagan's (AppSumo) frankness and humor. Took away about 5 pages of notes. Especially liked the book recommendations.
