This group is for women only, who identify themselves as lesbians. The purpose of the group is to provide a way for lesbians who are interested in dating to find each other. It is intended for women who are emotionally available and are ready to meet other available women and are open to the possibility of creating a long-term relationship. It is also intended as a means to practice and learn how to date without immediately jumping into a relationship. Therefore, lesbians should be open-minded and available to meet a variety of women, some of whom might not be their idea of a "perfect" mate. Sometimes it's beneficial to stretch our comfort zones, and this is intended as a way to reach beyond what we've been doing before. Think of this group as a way to meet women one-on-one in a non-threatening public environment. The meetings will be up to the individual women, but it is recommended that the first meeting be a "coffee date" to meet and see if they want to go on an actual date. All single lesbians in the Austin, TX area are invited to join. Please only try to join if you live in the immediate vicinity of Austin and are willing to come to Austin to meet women.  There will be a few rules, but we'll get to those later. You must be willing to put your picture in your profile. You will also be asked to complete a profile.
