My Statement as Candidate for Travis County District Clerk / Signs & Stickers!

Arlo J. P.

Post #: 20
It's just a two-way race for Travis County District Clerk! There is no Republican candidate! Now is the time to get a real libertarian elected! If you want to help, please spread the word that people in Travis County can call or email (below) for free signs and/or bumper stickers!

I am running for Travis County District Clerk because I am a veteran of similar duties as a contractor for the State Attorney General’s office. I saved taxpayer money by finding more efficient ways to process paperwork as well as exposing and ending deliberate inefficiency that employs were engaged in to create more work hours for themselves.

Government offices suffer from inefficiency that results from trying to spend all of the current budget to justify asking for a larger budget the following year. I believe a staunch Libertarian such as myself is principled enough to shrink a budget and make an office leaner and more effective in spite of pressure to do otherwise. I will not be popular within a government office for this, but the taxpayers are going to love me. I promise to proudly shrink the budget and to make our department more effective!

I will work to educate citizens about their little-known rights as jurors. For example, one of their most empowering rights is the ability to challenge the law itself. If a juror believes a law to be unjust, thereby depriving a person of life, liberty or property, that juror can refuse to convict the defendant. By educating employers and the public about a juror’s rights, I hope to inspire more citizens to serve.

Please vote for me, Arlo J. Pignotti this coming November election. Thank you!

Yours in liberty,
