re: Guitar Center Studio Jam ... March 17th

Hi all,

A few weeks ago, I held a Jam at the new Guitar Center Studios and it was a lot of fun. (check out the photos)

I want to hold another one but this time around, I'm looking for two guitarist who can play both rhythm and lead, a bass player and possibly a keyboardist that are into heavier '70's rock ... ie; Deep Purple, Montrose, Rainbow, Sabbath, Nugent, Zeppelin etc. I'll be on drums. No egos please as this is just for fun ... preferably non-professionals.

Amps & mics are provided so all you'd need to bring is/are effects pedals and of course your instrument. However a keyboard is not provided although you can plug directly into the PA mixing board.

We'll meet at the Guitar Center Studios in Round Rock for a two hour session on Saturday, March 17th at 7:30 pm. If you haven't been there before, it's a great place!

There is only room for about 5 people. I'll pay for the rehearsal time. (donations would be helpful but not necessary).

If interested, please send me a bit of info about yourself, what kind of music you're into and I'll decide who might be most compatible for this type of event.

Also, if you have an idea for a different sort of music jam session, be it classical, jazz, pop, or folk, and are willing to host and provide a location, please let me know and I'll be happy to schedule an post it as an official Meetup.
