What got you interested in the Primal/Paleo lifestyle (either dietary, exercise, or both)?

I can't remember when I was first exposed to it. I just thought it really "made sense" in a way that other dietary and fitness ideas don't. As an independent thinker, the fact that it contradicts mainstream medicine/nutrition is interesting.

How long have you been interested in these topics?

I am not 100% primal but I have been eating grass-fed meats, green veggies, etc and avoiding or de-emphasizing grains and sugars since as far back as 2005. In the past year I've gotten pretty radical about it.

What are your fitness/exercise interests? Dietary interests?

It's hard to execute because of work commitments. I spend a lot of time cooking and shopping for food. When I'm getting ready for work I find it hard to find the time to prepare lunch so I usually end up eating out.

What would you like to see us do at meetups?

Discuss aspects of paleo/primal, maybe engage in some sort of paleo exercises as a group. I'm mainly interested in getting to know like-minded people.

What is the next step you would like to take to live more primally?

Eliminate or significantly restrict caffeine. I'm a caffeine-o-holic and I know it undermines the efforts I'm putting into living primally.
