Sorry for the short notice folks but very nice event in San Antonio this weekend. Check out the links.
Presented by the Latin Dance Society at UTSA
We are a student based/student run organization at the University of Texas at San Antonio that was founded in 2008 with the help of Ángel and Jessica Santiago of Xibuké Dance Company. As an organization, we've performed at and attended the Houston Salsa Congress, Texas Salsa Congress, Dallas Bachata Festival, Baylor Salsa Invasion, Dallas Salsa Congress, Houston Bachata Weekender, Capital City Salsa Festival, and B.I.G. Salsa Festival. We have taken workshops from some of the most talented dancers across Texas, the United States, and internationally. We are proud to be representatives for the next generation of salseros in Texas and strive to strengthen and grow the salsa community, starting in San Antonio, with our first - THE first - Alamo City Salsa Extravaganza!
Starting Friday night, September 27th, and lasting until Saturday night, September 28th, San Antonio will be packed with non-stop dancing from some of the best salseros, bachateros, and kizombeiros that Texas has to offer!
The weekend will start off with social dancing all night on Friday, with workshops all day on Saturday, and will end with performances and social dancing on Saturday night!
