Join us for a master naturalist's tour of Jacobs Well. We'll take a leisurely walk on trails around the artesian well, and learn about Hill Country water, geology, botany, human history, riparian restoration and more. After lunch in Wimberley's charming town square, we will visit Blue Hole (closed to swimming until summer) and the shady trails nearby for 1-2 hours of moderately paced hiking. Expect 3-5 miles of hiking total. No pets please. There are no entrance fees, but a small donation to Jacobs Well and Sierra Club are appreciated.
To informally arrange carpools (not sponsored by Sierra Club), meet at the NW corner of Barton Creek Square Mall parking lot at 9:00am near Macy's. Alternatively, meet us at Jacobs Well Office, 221 Wood Acre Drive, Wimberley, at 9:45 AM for the tour. Due to tour restrictions, group size limited to 25. Please be respectful and RSVP Yes only if you will attend.
