Urban Bike Ride starting from the Highland Mall Farmers Market

Join us for an easy urban bike ride through the Allandale and Crestview neighborhoods.  We will start out at the Highland Mall parking lot where the Sunday Highland Mall Farmers Market is held for a 15 - 20 mile round trip.

After a bike ride through the Crestview neighborhood to look at the Urban Patchwork gardens where residential lawns are being turned into vegetable gardens to promote sustainability by raising food in place of the usual grass lawn. We'll ride through the Allandale neighborhood to view a historic farm site.  We will arrive back at the Farmers Market in time for folks to take a look at the farmers who are selling their fresh products.  We will stop for food and drink along the way.
A donation of $2 for members and $3 for non-members  is recommended to offset club expenses.

Riders must wear a helmet, obey all traffic laws, have equipment to change a tire, and be able to maintain a 10-12 mph pace.  Bring money for lunch and water.  For more information contact Janis at [masked]

Turn into the Highland Mall parking lot at the intersection of Denison and Airport (there is a traffic light). We will park next to the Farmers Market so we can check out the FM on return from ride. Bring plenty of water, helmet, equipment to change a flat tire, wear close toed shoes and bring money to eat afterwards.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
