LADY BIRD JOHNSON WILDFLOWER CENTER. 8:30 to 12:00 pm. Sierra Club members and guests are invited to do some volunteer work in the Wildflower Center gardens, including weeding, mulching, and touching up pathways. Park in the front parking lot and meet Janis Snow ([masked]) at the front entry cistern at 8:15 am for a brief intro (we’ll head out to meet with staff at 8:30 am sharp!). The Center has gloves and tools, but volunteers should wear hats and other sun protective clothing, sunscreen, bug spray if desired, and bring a water bottle and snack. No admission fee for volunteers, so plan to stroll around before or after the shift; the Center opens at 8:30 am. No pets.

We can go out for food and drink after we complete our work.

Thanks for all your hard work on Wednesday. It was very rewarding for me to know that I was contributing to the restoration of the pine forests at Bastrop.

Hi, Janis Not sure you got my email. I have to drop my grandson off at camp and may be a little late. Where should I go when I get there?
