Invasive Plant Removal at Blunn Creek Nature Preserve
Help restore Blunn Creek Nature Preserve, previously a dairy farm, by removing invasive plants which threaten the native environment. Tasks will include cutting ligustrum and stacking it on brush piles for chipping. Wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, and bring water and gloves. Parking is along 1300 block of St. Edwards Drive. Please arrive promptly at 9:00 AM as there is a hike, possibly uphill on rocky trail, to the working location. Optional lunch afterwards at Curra's Grill.
