Hill of Life Repeats

For those planning summer trips to the mountains, there is no better training in Austin than the Hill of Life. The hike gains more than 300 feet in less than half a mile, over a steep rough trail littered with loose sand and rocks.

The plan is to do 6 loops, for a total of 6 miles and 1800 vertical feet. Total time is 2.2 hours or 22 minutes/loop. Since this is not technically a guided hike, individuals can set there own pace.

Unlike the Austin Adventure Network, we break a sweat, so bring plenty of water and snacks!

Sorry I missed it, guys. I've never been to this entrance of the greenbelt and by the time I found it, it was too late.
