It's usually best to just do one date at a time - then you could add in the notes that it's every week or whatever and then after the first time see if the event is well attended or not and let that be the deciding factor of whether you schedule it for the future or not. Otherwise it feels like spam even though the dates are different.

Announcing a new Meetup for Austin Singers and Songwriters Meetup Group!
What: Open Mic Night
When: July 30, 2009 8:00 PM
109 Pecan Street East
This Meetup was suggested by Clayton Adams
Songwriter Open Mic night on Thursdays in Pflugerville at Tuffs Tavern. It has a quiet, intimate, yet family-friendly atmosphere. We can discuss songs and get up and play if we want. Clayton Adams has offered the use of his guitar or you can bring your own if you want (or keys) whatever works. There is NO cover and drinks are very cheap. Its never very crowded with plenty of big tables for ALL to sit together.
A big thanks to Clayton for helping us with this. Clayton can be seen on www.myspace.com/claytonadams
