I've been toying around with the idea of doing a tea+cocktails event. How does a Morrocan Mint tea Mojito sound? Or a Chai White Russian? I can only imagine the possibilities!

David has graciously volunteered his place which is located at the Domain Residence. When you comment, can you please list the snacks/beverages you'll bring?

Of course this event will be 21 and over only. :)

We had rose and lemon cupcakes, earl grey icing, chai infused cookies and lots of sampling of drinks. What more could you ask for? Delish and fun all around.

I will have the following: Vodka, citrus vodka, whiskey, two or three snacks, ice, pitchers, cups, martini shaker, kettle, strainers, and a muddler. Feel free to bring extra equipment, a snack, and/or drink with a recipe and unique ingredients you'll need. My recommendation, depending on how many recipes we have, would be to do two-three flights with several drinks per round to try everyone's recipe. If you send me your recipes and I can also print them out beforehand.

I'll plan to bring some vodka and rum, along with a couple of martini shakers. I was thinking of bringing some Firefly Sweet "Tea" vodka, but I don't want to spoil the fun. :) Let me know if anything else would be helpful.

Hi all, here are further details on some thoughts on how this will work (in my mind, but I'd love some additional suggestions!)

-several 'bases' of teas made and chilled, ready for the mixing (I'll be providing 3-4 of these, but welcome additional blends!)
-various alcohols (vodka, tequila, rum etc) and fruit for mixing and garnish
-snacks to help absorb and compliment the drinks

Please bring your choice of alcohol, mixers, garnish, snacks and of course recipes to try.

Sounds like a great idea. My place is too small to host but will def be there.
