This is a big week in Austin! We're celebrating by welcoming  attendees and having a big Austin Interactive Week Kickoff at TechBreakfast

We'll be hosting our event at a special location: Fogo De Chao, right across the street from the Austin Convention Center on Friday, Mar. 7 (which also happens to be the first day of SXSW Interactive).

Interact with your peers in a monthly morning breakfast meetup. At this monthly breakfast get-together techies, developers, designers, and entrepreneurs share learn from their peers through show and tell / show-case style presentations.

And yes, this is free! Thank our sponsors when you see them :)

*** NOTE: This event is in place of the regularly scheduled Austin TechBreakfast for March 2014 ***

That was a wonderful event! I had a great time, saw some people I knew, met some new people and the food was amazing. Did I mention the food was amazing?

After all the work to get the invites straightened out, trying to find parking downtown was impossible. It's a stark reminder that our city continues to ignore that we're not able to handle the capacity of the festivals that have outgrown us. Very disappointing... and probably disappointing for the startups, too, who likely got more out of town lookie-loos than those of us here to support their community.

I'm looking forward to the next event that's not downtown, ever.

Hi Niki, I confirmed with MetroRail just now by phone that you could get towed if you park at Highland Mall. They do not have a parking lot for the train there (it belongs to the mall).

The last ATB I made was October, after which I broke my leg the same day. Now that I'm healed, let's see what the excitement of THIS ATB causes me to do!

I've got tickets for you all. We're not abandoning anyone -- just need to have you do it through the other site because we can't have two different lists going on. Especially since there are some dupes now.

Drop me an email and I'll re-register you. I never planned on abandoning you all, I just need it on Eventbrite because the Meetup list is now corrupt and we've got folks here AND there. I've got volunteers helping with checkin and the last thing we want to do is hold up over 600 folks checking two lists.

No need to panic - just send me a note and I'll get you on board! Promise!

Thanks for taking care of this by email, since the new event shows as sold out!

Agreed. Great outreach by ATB staff. The lessons? Don't panic and always carry a towel!

And to all - we apologize for the F&@K UP. We thought moving to another registration site was the right thing to do when the site was down such that no one could register. And we had no idea how long that was going to be. Rather than have no one at our event, we figured moving to another reg. site was the right thing to do. I think it still was. We did send notices to everyone here when we moved, but maybe not everyone got it. For that we apologize.

Regardless, this is still going to be an awesome event and WE WANT YOU ALL THERE. Yes, every single, lovable one of you. And the sponsors do too. Because we know how badly you want breakfast tacos and tech in the morning. That's why you're here.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
