Just a reminder about Skillpoint's upcoming Game JAM, June 20th-22nd at St. Edward's University!
For more information and registration: http://bit.ly/1m8stLO
JAMs focus on programming, but the gaming industry relies on more than just programmers; it needs artists, sound production specialists, writers, designers and marketing teams behind those programmers.
Please share with your network! See you at the next Tech Breakfast! Thanks for organizing another great event Ron!

Didn't get to tell you all about this month's TAG. Think you will like Dr. Bilby's story. There will also be a five minute talk by a startup a la TechBreakfast.

Terapio: Developing a First Line of Defense for Potential Terrorist Attacks with Dr. Curt Bilby, CEO

    Friday, June 27th from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m.

Our government has various programs to protect us against increasingly sophisticated terrorist threats and others to remediate industrial accidents involving nuclear radiation and chemical/biological agents. Dr. Bilby, who sits on national committees addressing this problem, will speak to us about those programs and their reliance on emerging technology such as those of his firm.

Again, a really good lineup and great networking even after the meeting was over..Time to open up that remaining section.
... and it only cost $1.75 parkingveimpro on the street including a time after the meeting to network. Just come 15 minutes or so earlier to find a spot on the street. The pre-meeting time is free. So make it $2 for a breakfast, meeting new people, and getting ideas for your own business. So stop your bellyaching about the parking and admit you really like to sleep in because either its a bad habit you can't break or you do it because everyone in YOUR GANG does it or you just think you don't need ideas, others' experiences, or our support to make it.

I'd love to have been able to attend, but the company I work for went public today and our exec team rang the bell @ Nasdaq! https://www.google.com/finance?q=NASDAQ%3AMOBL - and the next one on the 10th, I'll be on the way to Shanghai! Any other events I should know about?

@Krish - Thanks! I've enjoyed the past three years and it's the first startup I've been at to make it public (vs. getting acquired), so it's been an exciting ride! I certainly have a lot of experience to bring forward from here!

I thought CanWeNetwork closed down? All the employees left and started up a mobile analytics company and they shut down the office. Are they rehiring?

This may be wishful thinking, but will capital factory be validating parking in the garage? They do for evening meet ups.

    June 10, 2014

    • TechBreakfast

I don't think so for the morning stuff since it's daytime parking rates
