This class includes gentle exercises for strength, flexibility, balance and posture. What makes Aston® Fitness unique is its emphasis on discovering the underlying principles of physics that allow movements to be safer, more youthful, more effective, and more fun. Grace and power are not just for professional athletes and dancers. These skills can be learned. Each week we will introduce an Aston-Mechanics® concept and apply it to exercises in a way that will revolutionize how your body moves. Students will be able to utilize this new understanding in their fitness regimen and also in their everyday activities.

Classes take place in the AOMA Mind-Body Center which is located on the back side of building A. Building A is the building closest to the intersection of West Gate and Western Trails.
"The Aston Fitness class with Eve and Michelle was informative and fun! Their model for presenting the concepts and exercises was particularly successful. Verbally explaining the concepts, one per week, followed by physical movement to demonstrate the concept in motion, was highly effective for the mind/intellect and the physical body to learn and embody the concept.
