Hump Day Event....once a month on a Wednesday

Referring to Wednesday as "hump day” is a fairly modern tradition in American English. The term represents the idea that a week can be visualized as a mound or hill that a person climbs, with Wednesday typically being the middle or peak of the week.

Sorry Jeff and all. Will make it a point next time. Jeff, I think you are scheduled for the Game Party Saturday night....that should be well attended.

Been a crazy week at work - thanks for reaching out, if I were able I'd catch the other event you mentioned but I've got a mandatory company party. Please keep me in the loop - I've gotta get out more! :)

Am still signed up and am planning on bringing some coleslaw (since I am not sure we locked into a menu). However, as much as I hate to miss, work may get in the way....especially with an hour and 1/2 drive and your traffic! Darn! I wanted to meet Farkle.

Hey all, Hump day is still happening tomorrow night from 5-8 p.m. so be there. If we could have a few people reply to this post and bring a snack (Lori=crockpot dish) that would be great since Cathy is missing this one. FARKLE will start @ 6pm and all is welcome. HH starts at 5pm.

is this still a happening? anyway, i am in for some beers, but i did not dress for cool weather.

Cathy...your RSVP says YES but your comments below say NO.
Just wondering if we all should pitch in to bring finger foods/snacks to the HH since you had provided them in the past. It's going to be cooler that evening so I think I'll make some sort of crockpot dish to warm us up!

Yikes....I can't make it after all. My team with Austin Community College is a finalist in a Student Life Team of the Year Award. Dinner and awards are Wed. April 24.

Reference Arm wrestling...I was serious. Women's and Men's division for sure.

Farkle rocks. Hump day is about meeting people, enjoying snacks and beverages, making new memories and having lots of fun!!!! Can't wait to see the pictures posted and hear the details. I will let you know if my group wins the award.

If you want to talk insurance call me at[masked] 7004. Don't wait for an Insurance Adjuster to tell you ....sorry your coverage doesn't cover this loss or you don't have enough coverage to cover your loss. Unfortunately this happens too often.

Yes, we will miss you. I was hoping you would teach me Farkle. I am assuming we are still meeting at MOC though Dan has been quiet out here.

      April 18, 2013

    • Cathy K.

Yes meet at MOC. Dan was busy with the fishing tournament this weekend.

      April 20, 2013

  • Jim R.

Yes, now tradition. Brush up on your Farkle.

    April 16, 2013

    • Lori S

I'm in for another round of Farkle!!

      April 18, 2013

  • Cathy K.

February we ate bar food, March we ate rabbit food. Should we have Tofu – or ‘toe-food’ April 24? Variety is the spice of life? Or maybe a beer tasting event and some friendly Arm wrestling?
Tournament starts at 6 pm, No weigh ins.
Men’s Novice Group and Women's Novice Group
Prizes: Winners photos posted on the meet up site

If someone gets stuck with a dart where its not supposed to be can be serious. Darts are bi-sexual and unbiased about who plays with them or who they stick.

    April 16, 2013

MOC Kayaks is the kayak rental & supplier just off Cesar Chavez, east of Springdale, on Red Bluff Dr.

      April 16, 2013

    • Jim R.

Fine to bring a blind date - the rest of us can vet him for you if you want.
