Take Your Cardio Outside

Want to zap 200 calories in a half hour while sitting down? Hop in a kayak!
Paddling works your body harder than a rowing machine....netting you a buffer back, flatter abs, and sexier shoulders. That's what the article said.

Putting in at the 360 bridge works well…there is not a charge and less boat traffic for NOW. Workouts are about building endurance! We may not all paddle at the same rate but we can all agree to finish at the same time.

Beginner paddlers and those wanting a leisure paddle can take the first cove and paddle to County Line.

Advanced paddlers head to Hula Hut and back to County Line. Expect 2-3 hours to make it back to the County Line.

Today was great. Temp this morning was in the mid 30s...no wind..Lake was slick as glass. With the sun and body heat from paddling the temp was perfect. The hardest part was getting out of bed this morning.

Best thing about hosting...it makes me accountable. I will be there at 830 am. Cooler weather has its perks.

Picked up my new 'yak yesterday and can't wait to try her out. However we are headed to South Llano River for camping and paddling this weekend. See you at County Line.

Last week I paddled in a group of duck before they all flew over my boat. Next a swan swam too close to take a photo. Wondering about the beauty of a sun rise on the water...guess that's another day.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
