Come join us at Deep Eddy Pool with your floats and favorite beach towel to enjoy a truly unique movie experience on:
July 6th , 2013 at 7:00 PM CDT
Deep Eddy is Texas's oldest swimming pool and was opened in 1915 by AJ Eilers Sr. Unlike a lot of pools in Texas, Eddy is fed by a natural spring , so it's non-chlorinated . Also , due to location it's typically 10 degrees warmer than that of Barton Springs.
For $3.00 CASH (per person) you get admission to the pool, locker , and showers .
Deep Eddy does not allow food/drinks around/in the pool, however you are allowed to bring stuff around the picnic area of the facility.
Note: They also have a small concession stand, but I'm unsure if they accept credit, so bring cash if you plan on buying anything
Note2: As with all Austin parks , alcohol consumption on premise is illegal . So if you decide to bring anything, do so at your own risk !
Things to Bring:
- Swimming attire
- Flotation device (optional)
- Sunscreen (optional)
- Quilt to lay on if you want to get out of the pool (optional)
