Let's eat pie on Pi Day!

Scott and I like to celebrate Pi Day by eating pie at The Frisco. We thought we'd see if any fellow geeks want to join us and maybe play some games as well - so come eat pie and bring games!

Wow the place is jammed. If we are there look for a guy in a green hoody. I'm outside right now

I'm trying to make arrangements with The Frisco since we have such a large group coming now (which is awesome!) - So those of you who are coming, are you planning to be there at or very close to 7 or are you coming later? I want to give The Frisco a good idea of what to expect. By the way, we went to the gaming expo at SxSW, and Andy Looney (of Fluxx fame) was there with Looney Labs. We got a copy of his new game, Loonacy, which isn't publicly available until March 28th. We will be sure to bring it! It's like speed or Spot It, but using Fluxx artwork. Very simple game but lots of fun.

We will be there soon (they should know about a group for 20 - you can give them my name, I'm not sure whether I ever told them the group name. Last name Weaver)

Me and the hubby will be there, though we are both pretty new to any tabletop gaming with the exception of d&d. Will someone be willing to walk us through the game?

There may be several games of various things going on at once, depending on peoples' tastes and whatnot. I'm more than willing to walk you through any of the games that I bring or that I know. Glad you are coming!

people always seem like there are 2 different kind of games. the classics like monopoly and D & D. the truth is there are so many different kinds with an endless list of mechanics. i am bringing 6 myself so.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
