Light Board Game Night @ Newk's

Let's meetup for some board game fun! I plan on bringing Settlers of Catan, Small World, Apples to Apples, Guillotine, Bang!, Kingsburg, Saboteur, Jenga, Dixit, Yahtzee, and The Resistance, just to name a few. Feel free to bring a game of your choice. This event should be pretty big because I cross posted it with some other groups. I'm hoping to get a total of 30+ guests. I've never had that many before and I want it to happen.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Do I need to know how to play the games before I attend?

No. Just come out and have fun! Our members are friendly and willing to teach you the games.

Do I have to show up right at the time the event is scheduled?

No. We usually play several games in one outing, so just come out and join in on fun! Also, you are not expected to stay for the full duration of the event either. Stay as long as you like.

Do I have to play a game?

Again no. You are welcome to just come hang out and watch. After I've had my gaming fix, I like to just check out the other games being played and socialize with guests.

As far as food goes at this venue, I recommend the Italian sandwich. I also hear that the chocolate cake is really good. Michael is a fan of the chocolate peanut butter rice crispy treats.

If you get lost or you are running late and wish to tell me, you can reach me at[masked]-4132. I do not have a smart phone so I cannot check emails once I leave my apartment, so call or text me on my cell phone. Hope to see you there!

I got King of Tokyo yesterday. I picked up Nuts! Tuesday night because how can you resist a family game that revolves around grabbing nuts? I have an expansion for Dixit on the way and should get to me by Saturday.
