You can attend all the meetings and sign all the petitions you want, but if you really want to make a difference in the world, it must start with you.

Whether you want to grow a few vegetables or keep a couple laying hens to provide your family improved nutrition or you dream of one day getting back to nature on your own property, this is the place to get the knowledge, skills, and attitude to make it work.

To borrow an expression, this group is about living a better life if times get tough or even if they don't. That can be done through getting out of debt, gardening, raising livestock, and generally thinking ahead.

We welcome people of all religious and political stripes that share these ideals.
