My wife and I moved to the area in Dec. from the four corners. Canoes, kayaking and WW rafting is definitely in our blood. .
I have a good 25+ yrs experience as a raft guide and wilderness canoeist.
Seek paddling buddies to show us some good river runs here in Texas.
Show us some good runs here in the Hill Country, share shuttles and enjoy multi-day trips w/ great river buddies.
Expert; raft guide, trip leader, wilderness canoeist with strong background in Swiftwater Rescue. Retired FF/EMT, river rescue and water saftey education was my thing then. I've worked as river ranger, raft guide, river chef/dishwasher and have lead my fair share of Boy Scout river trips. I love BWCA. I've been paddling up to the artic circle in Canada. My wife is a great little paddler fr FL, as she loves canoeing and camping too. But lately I've spoiled her being the eye candy on the front of my 18' raft. Our 1st trip together was on the Salt river in AZ. Proposed to her on Desolation/Grey Canyon. I haven't sent her swimming yet, so she still loves me.
Anytime the water is up here on Hill Country rivers, nearest big city Austin.
