New Year's Day Sail (Lady Bird Lake)

Hey Sailors - this is Ginny and Jim, co-owners of Austin Sailboat Rentals (a small sailing outfit on Lady Bird Lake ... eager to sail and start a new tradition of sailing on Lady Bird Lake). If the weather is warm, lets all go sailing on the first.

If you need lessons, no problem, I'm hear and love to teach people how to sail. Bring your own boat (depth is about 12 feet) or rent one of our dinghy sailboats for half off (that's $10 an hour ... you can't do anything for $10 an hour anymore), or sail one of our larger day sailors ($45 an hour), also half off (that's two hours of sailing for the price of one hour), and bring your kids if you have them (we love kids, and kids sail free today)! We'll also have a crockpot full of black-eyed peas and rice for good fortune in 2014 ... first come, first serve.

Cheers

Black-eyed peas and rice cooking in the crockpot right now...be sure to stop by a grab a bowl before or after sailing. Happy New Years!

The weather should be perfect for sailing tomorrow...mid 60's and 10 mph wind!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
