Welcome to the Taoist Tai Chi Society®-Austin Meetup Group!

Taoist Tai Chi® internal arts of health incorporate stretching and turning into a sequence of movements that improve the health of body, mind, and spirit. They reduce tension, improve circulation and balance, and increase strength and flexibility.

Over time, these internal arts reach deep inside the body to benefit its entire physiology and restore the calmness and peace of mind often lost through the excessive desires and anxieties of daily life.

What are the Taoist Tai Chi® movements?

The physical part of Taoist Tai Chi® internal arts of health consists of the basic principles, known as the basic exercises and movements that set of 108 forms.

Wow, 108 moves sounds like a lot, doesn't it? Not really. We don't ask our students to memorize these forms. Just practice them, and before you know it, these forms are part of your muscle memory.

New Beginner classes starting soon!

New participants will normally sign up for a New Beginner Class, where they will be gradually introduced to the 108 movements of the Taoist Tai Chi® set over a period of 3 to 4 months.

We offer classes for beginners at our Cedar Park Center and in Georgetown and Round Rock. Check our Austin Area web page for start dates and times of new beginner classes.

Try the first class FREE! You can start anytime but drop in the first few weeks of a new beginner class to learn the first few moves of the set. We look forward to seeing you soon!
