Join us as we journey through
The Hermit Constellation.


This meet up will be devoted to the Hermit. You will be exposed to a variety of different Hermit cards from the decks that you bring. We will discuss what we already know about the card through all six of our senses. This will be followed up by digging through the books and learning and answering all the questions. We will discuss astrology, numerology, kaballah, elements, symbolism and colors.

The meetup will finish up with a discussion on what we just learned and how to use this information in a reading in addition to how the card fits in with the remainder of the deck.

This is the first meetup of a 7 part series. Each meetup in the series we will discuss a new card that fits into The Hermit Constellation until we have studied each card. There will then be a final meetup discussing a conclusion for The Hermit Constellation.

It is important that you bring a journal that is specifically designated for this series of meetups only.

Plan to have fun, meet new and old friends and fall in love with the tarot.



As always, the gathering is free. There is a suggested donation of $10.00 but please only give what you can. Do not let money keep you from coming. All donations are anonymous. If you want you can pay through PayPal. Meetup has dropped the option of letting us specify that the meetup is a suggested donation and now only lets us make a flat charge, which I do not want to do.

Bring a deck or 2 and a designated tarot journal with something to write with.

    I am very excited about all the new tarot enthusiasm. I love watching new readers discover they can do it. Anyone who attends meetups regularly, I promise, will soon become a confident reader...without a book.

    i enjoyed meeting everyone, looking at all the different tarot cards and seeing the differences and similarities in the different style cards. i appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and the knowledge shared by all. thank you La Vonne and others for making the night a success for me!

    • “ the Hermit is a very intersting character. we were asked to look at our Hermit card and first give our own interpretation of the Hermit. Some of the questions asked of us were, "what do we think he is feeling, what do we think he hears, what are some of the symbolic items in our own card and what do they mean to us." we shared our thoughts and then did a quick research from various other books about the Hermit and the symbolic items found in our own cards. i personally learned that if he comes up in my reading i would have to ask myself where is the querent with him/herself; does he/she need some time to be alone to reflect or to gain more experience concerning the question at hand. ”
