No. I don't teach, and I rarely read for anyone else. I really like Dr. Stephan Hoeller's approach to the Tarot. He wrote The Royal Road, which was recently revised and republished as The Fool's Pilgrimage.
Usually when I feel stuck and no conscious decision seems to get me unstuck. Also, I've used the Tarot in the past to help with my writing.
I started with some "Gnostic" deck, which turned out to not really be Gnostic at all. I now own the Rider-Waite deck as well as the Thoth deck by Aleister Crowley. While I'm not a huge fan of Crowley's body of work, I really like and prefer his deck.
I'm not sure if it was after reading something by Eliphas Levi or Israel Regardie, or even after hearing a lecture by Dr. Hoeller, but I decided that I needed a means of deeper communication with my subconscious.

I'm a novice, amateur, n00b ... whatever appellation is appropriate. But I am deeply fascinated with tarot's use in revealing what the subconscious mind wants to communicate.
